CrossCuts Mural Day 6

Day 6 at the CrossCuts Mural located on Addison Avenue between the Kennedy Expressway exit ramp and Avondale Avenue.
Shannon Kemp Passero took the lead this morning working with Shawn Cassera through the entire day on going through each panel of the wall cleaning up lines and working in detail.
Both Shannon and Shawn deserve big credit for their attention to detail and patience as when I arrived later in the afternoon the majority of the panels across the main wall were in final state.
Even though he was not on the schedule, Jerry Rogowski stopped by to check in and to his credit immediately jumped in to help out and quickly broke out his ladder and brushes to tackle Panel 9 while Shawn, Shannon and I continued on with clean up of the other panels.
Later in the evening Jan Wiktor Soroko and Siobhan Kealey checked in for their evening shifts.
I had Siobhan work with Jerry on finishing off Panel 9 and assigned Jan Wiktor to roll a second coat on some of the lighter colors of the mural.
After Shannon, Shawn, Jan Wiktor and Siobhan checked out. Jerry switched to Panel 2 to do the line detail touch up up high while I grabbed a garbage bag to weed the curb in front of the area and ensure any trash or remnants from our work was fully cleaned up.
At this point the mural is pretty much complete over the amazing schedule of 6 DAYS!
The plan now is to let the paint on the wall “cure and settle” across some hot days and summer storms then when I come out to install some missing pigeon spikes touch up any areas that may be off.
